Feeling Like a Fraud? 3 Ways to Up-Level Your Business with Confidence

The other day, I had a conversation with a friend who mentioned that each time she up-levels her business, she experiences the exact kinds of problems she wants to help her ideal client solve.

"I SO know how this feels!" I responded to her, because I had been there so many times myself.

When I was supporting clients who desired to find clarity about their life purpose and direction in their business, I suddenly found myself questioning my own purpose and direction.

When I was helping women master their money mindset and make more money in their business, I found myself doubting my own ability to increase my income and grow my business to the next level.

When I was working with entrepreneurs who desired more time freedom and ease in their business, I created a shit-ton of overwhelm and stress in my own business—at least initially.

If you're currently experiencing this in your business, know this: First of all, what you're going through is perfectly normal. We all have these moments of self-doubt and feeling like a fraud, and it typically happens when it's least convenient.

However, you don't need to stay stuck there. Here are three things you can do right now to break free from the endless self-sabotage and through to your next level with ease, grace + joy:

3 Ways to Break Free from Impostor Syndrome + Through to Your Next Level without Self-Sabotaging

1. Be kind to yourself.

Stop being so hard on yourself! Instead of judging yourself for what's not working in your business, focus on how far you've come. What you focus on, you create more of. As you choose to celebrate what IS working and has worked for you in the past, you'll see that in truth you have already mastered a ton of challenges in your life—and you have an amazing toolbox of resources your clients can benefit from right in this moment. Let your past and present successes inspire you. (And don't be shy to share them!)

2. Set healthy boundaries.

Next, be aware of how you may subconsciously be taking on stress and problems that aren't even yours to begin with. If you're an empath like me, chances are that the moment you start thinking about your ideal client's struggles, you begin to feel them yourself. To change this pattern, understand that you aren't serving anyone by carrying weight that isn't yours. On the contrary: The happier and the more successful you allow yourself to be, the more you enable yourself to hold space for others to do the same for themselves, and the more energy you can put into supporting your clients in a truly empowering way. Understand that it's not your struggle that makes you worthy, but the simple gift of being you.

3. Keep going.

Finally, when fear and self-doubt does show up, don't let it stop you. Keep moving forward, and let nothing hold you back. You'll typically find that once you get into action and simply take the next step, stress and worry disappears, and you'll naturally find your flow. The more you can focus on serving your ideal client rather than panicking about what your audience thinks of you, the more effortlessly your divine genius flows through, and the more quickly you'll move through any obstacles you encounter on your journey. Make your success non-negotiable, and nothing can stop you!
