My Story

About 14 years ago, I made a decision that changed my life more profoundly than I could ever have imagined.

Back then, I was a full-time employee at a Swiss advertising agency. While I was grateful for the opportunity to work in a creative setting, I also knew that writing and editing content for big corporate brands wasn’t what I was meant to be doing for the rest of my life.

For many years, I had been dreaming about being my own boss so I could be free to travel, explore the world, put my countless creative ideas into action, and do something truly meaningful that would allow me to make a bigger difference in this world.

After three years of epic commutes, 40+ hour work weeks, and rushing from one deadline to the next, I finally decided it was time. I took the leap, quit my job, and started my own copywriting and web design business.

At first, everything went just great. My employer almost immediately became my first client, and I always had more than enough income to cover all my living expenses right from the start.

More clients quickly followed, I kept building my business with lots of passion, enthusiasm, and hard work, and soon, I had everything I had always thought I wanted:

I was making good money doing what I enjoyed, my clients loved me and my work, and I quickly earned a reputation as one of the go-to experts in my niche.

I was also more free than I had ever been before in my life. I loved being able to make my own schedule, travel whenever and wherever I wanted, have time to cook yummy, healthy meals for lunch, and go for refreshing swims in the nearby river whenever I needed a break.

Then, something happened that I hadn't expected:

About a year after starting my business, (I had just returned from an amazing two-week long trip to Iceland), I hit a massive wall.

Even though on the outside everything looked fabulous and in so many ways I had created everything I had always dreamed of, on the inside, I felt as though I was dying.

I wasn't entirely sure what it was at first. I thought that perhaps I was simply feeling burned out from taking on too many client projects and spending too much time online (which I most definitely was).

I even began to set up some passive income streams to free up more time and space to flow with my own schedule.

However, as I continued to look deeper, my quest for the truth soon opened up an entirely new world to me.

One sunny afternoon, while I was sitting on my balcony brainstorming ideas for an e-book I wanted to write, I suddenly found myself channeling messages from my spirit guides.

Immediately, I knew that this was no coincidence.

I had always felt a strong fascination for the other realms and had sensed for a while that my connection to these worlds was going to be part of my career someday. I hadn't expected it to happen anytime soon, but now I knew: It was time!

Soon, I was blogging about angels and spirituality every day, and a few months later, I booked my first clients for intuitive readings and healing sessions. I also felt inspired to start my own YouTube channel to connect with like-minded others and share my journey.

In June 2011, I travelled to Hawaii to get my Angel Therapy® certification from Doreen Virtue.

When I returned home a week or so later, I knew it was only going to be for a little while. For many years, I had known that I wanted to be totally free to travel the world someday. And finally, I knew that it was now or never.

I gave myself about half a year to wrap up my last client projects, continuing to explore my new path and frequently travelling back and forth between England and Switzerland. And finally, in February 2012, I embarked on my big journey into the unknown with all my belongings in just a suitcase and carry-on bag.

My adventures took me to many magical places in Europe and North America: I got to visit England, Scotland, Sweden, California, Arizona, Hawaii … and then, quite unexpectedly, I returned to my long-lost childhood home in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. A cherished dream that had seemed beyond my reach for many years and that now finally became a reality by surprise.

Over the course of the following years, I experienced many incredibly amazing as well as some very challenging things that continued to change my life more profoundly than I had ever thought possible.

For quite some time, I thoroughly enjoyed my life as a nomad, travelling from one place to the next here in BC, even living in my car and tent for a while, connecting deeply with the nourishing beauty of Mother Nature.

I also spent much of my time in prayer and meditation, and especially in the midst of the hardest times, I found God (love) in ways I could never have imagined. For this, I am incredibly grateful today.

In my business, my inward journey was reflected in the many creative projects I brought to life during this time as well as in the years to come, including my healing cards, guided meditations, and courses.

Ever since then, I’ve been on an ongoing journey of liberating my magic, shifting ever more profoundly into new ways of creating and being, and manifesting a life that deeply nourishes and fulfills me on all levels—while holding the vision for a better, more peaceful and love-filled world for us all.

Today, I delight in sharing my knowledge and experience in the business, creative and spiritual realms with freedom loving co-creators like you, hoping to inspire many others to say yes to their dreams, embrace the life they know is truly possible for them, and change the world with their magical gifts.
